Agency (EPA) has approved of chlorine dioxide being an

application of chlorine dioxide in drinking water. Zhaoguan disinfectant is a kind of chlorine dioxide product which

The quality of Zhaoguan disinfectant was accepted insurance by the
People's Insurance Company of China (PICC). The Bacterial Disinfection Mechanism of Zhaoguan
DisinfectantChlorine dioxide releases high efficient and
board-spectrum active oxygen which possess dual adduction. Active
oxygen penetrates membrane of the bacteria cell, destroys the
enzyme system, leads to the disturbance of metabolism and therefore
can rapidly kills bacterium, fungus, virus and spore. The Characteristics of Zhaoguan Disinfectant
1. High efficiency, safety, board spectrum: It is an effective
biocide at concentrations as low as 0.1~0.2 mg/L and toxicological
studies have shown that CLO2'sdisinfection by-product, chlorite,
poses no significant adverse risk to human health. Furthermore, the
product can deodorize, extinguish algae, degrade toxin (heavy
metal, arsenic, phenol and amine), possess flocculation deposition
and eliminate the formation of chlorinated organic compounds.
2. Quality stabilization and action permanence: the bactericidal
power of the product is as five to ten times as chlorine's and the
product unaffected by pH between 6 and 10. Furthermore, its ability
of disinfection is unaffected by hardness and salinity of water.
